I can't stand him but he grew up poor and black in Alabama and had to overcome A LOT of racism to get where he did.

"Rise" Nice Intro
"Weary" Vocals + Production + Content ... closing my eyes and getting lost in the music
"Glory Is In You" ... Interlude flowed perfectly and didn't feel unnecessary or choppy.
"Cranes In The Sky" ... I really like this. The vocals at the end of the track >
"Dad Was Mad" ... Nice
"Mad" ... Refreshing Wayne feature. I love Solo's delivery on this track. "Where'd your love goooo"...love that part. This is a standout so far for me.
"Don't You Wait" ... Song is cool, but I can see that this won't be one of my favorites.
"Tina Taught Me" love the message
"Don't Touch My Hair" Was waiting for this one since I saw the title. Love that Sampha is on this. This definitely lived up to the hype.
"This Moment" ... Loving these Black moments.
"Where Do We Go" ... Nice song. Kind of feel the same way as "Don't You Wait"
"For Us By Us" .... Nice. Really anticipating FUBU. My most anticipated since I've seen the track list.
"FUBU" ... Song was cool. Didn't love it as much as I thought I would, but I have a feeling that this would be a sleeper.
"Borderline" ... was waiting for a Q-Tip verse
"I Got So Much Magic" ... Love this. Feel like I was watching an old home video
"Junie" ... Nice groove. Kind of filler-ish
"No Limits" ... Master P...nice
"Dont Wish Me Well" ... OK
Pedestals ... OK
"Scales" ... Song is nice, but I wish the album ended with more of a bang


This is another excellent addition to her discography. I can see why people on a pop based ATRL Would find this boring and not what they expected. They saw the surprise factor and automatically thought "BOP" etc.

I love this project.
