That's why most of her classics get the recognition after years from their release. You can play "Slave", "Stronger", "Born To Make You Happy" or "Toxic" today and you will still get the fresh and modern vibe and enjoy the sound as if it's 2008 music. I remember the first time I heard "Slave" at the VMAs and I was like WTF was she thinking, and I used to skip "Toxic" when ITZ came out. What a genius!

Yeah, I know what you mean about 'Slave' and 'Toxic' - always loved 'Stronger' and 'BTMYH' though. I remember loving the VMA performance and all, but mostly because it was Britney coming back and the visual, not because of the song. It was not before 2002 I started to ADORE 'Slave' and realize how brilliant it is.
About 'Toxic', I HATED it when they uploaded those previews on Britney.com. I was like "Yuck, this beat's so weird, so 80's". LOL
