I can't believe it took me nearly 4 years to start liking the masterpiece that is I Got That Boom Boom. I used to skip this song all the time. Definitely should have been a single. But I believe it would have had the similar fate of "Slave." These songs are way far too advanced for its own time (2001 and 2004).

That's Britney's problem. She always releases music that happens to be ahead of its time and people find difficulty to instantly process its brilliance. That's why most of her classics get the recognition after years from their release. You can play "Slave", "Stronger", "Born To Make You Happy" or "Toxic" today and you will still get the fresh and modern vibe and enjoy the sound as if it's 2008 music. Yes, thank you!!! It was the same for me, as well.

If she was to release Slave today, radio would eat it up for sure.

That's the thing with her music. It never gets old. If she were to release re-release Blackout two years from now, it would still be fresh.

Yeah, I know what you mean about 'Slave' and 'Toxic' - always loved 'Stronger' and 'BTMYH' though. I remember loving the VMA performance and all, but mostly because it was Britney coming back and the visual, not because of the song. It was not before 2002 I started to ADORE 'Slave' and realize how brilliant it is.

About 'Toxic', I HATED it when they uploaded those previews on Britney.com. I was like "Yuck, this beat's so weird, so 80's". LOL
