For all we now Track 8 and 9 can be a single before Track 2. And I hope you know that Track 2 is almost NEVER an official single. What's My Name is the only one that comes to mind that's track 2.
While at least one track in the lower Half ALWAYS becomes a single. And in Loud's case 2 of them were.

But I never once said what singles will be released, just that the ones towards the end of the album are, by looking at the past and a majority of major releases, less likely to do so.
MOTS :: Tracks 1 & 3 released, both in first half.
AGLM :: 3 in the first half, 1 in the second (and only Track #7 at that)
GGGB :: 4 in the first half, 1 in the second (released as 7th single, nearly 2 years later)
Rated R :: 3-4 in first half (4 if count WYT), 1 in the second (and only Track #8 at that)
Loud :: 4 in the first half, 1 in the second half (only Track #7 at that); CKB in middle
First half :: 17
Second half :: 4
You were saying?
As I've stated, singles
tend to trend towards the beginning of the album. I would even go as far to say that if broken into quarters, we'd probably see a descending trend, as well.
