The worst thing KPoppers do is when they try suggesting KPop songs to these hating "trolls",
You give them a chance to win and feel even more "privileged" and ignorant.
You cannot appreciate a KPop song UNLESS you open up your mind to the idea beforehand.
It's super easy to dismiss KPop as "ew dated" "omg western wannabe overproduced! leftover!", and you give them a chance to do it "Here check these amazing songs!", like no, their opinions do NOT matter
I think most of us were a bit ignorant at 1st when we got into KPop, or rather snobby-ish, but liking and enjoying KPop teaches you not to fall into the trap of peer pressure, or be worried how others would see you as a KPopper. You begin to take music less seriously, and actually ENJOY it more without over-thinking.
So as I said, the discussion and debates with KPop-haters is rather pointless. They will never appreciate UNTIL they decide to take it for what it is, and open up their minds to it.
