It has some R&B influenced, but it's an electropop song. The HQ version will emphasize on the synthesizers and electronic bits of it. I do commend Max for not going full on dance-pop with her, though, that's what I expected. And you haven't really listened to radio much lately to make comments like "a lil different".
. It is very catchy, and addictive. 
I like her little laugh during the bridge, I love how propulsive the chorus is and her vocals still stand out among the synths and pounding bass.
