Solid premiere. Of course, it had its many flaws and horrible writing/dialogue, but it was definitely fun and I love all the horror homages.
Would it be a far stretch to suspect Emma as the killer? Maybe the events of last year had such a traumatizing effect on her that she's going crazy. Hence, why she's having these dreams, and she saw the barn. Because she's already been there.
They show us
Jake
being killed in the barn at the exact same time Emma enters the barn so the two events happened in different timelines. Maybe Emma is the one who kills him.
Maybe she's having a personality disorder and can't remember her being the killer yet.
Just throwing it out there.
I would be happy about this if it meant she wasn't in season 3
Season 3? I will riot if Emma and her mama aren't brutally murdered half way through this season.

Exactly. It would be a nice reference to the opening kill in Scream with Drew.
Either they want us to think Emma's involved, or she is. It's pretty obvious they were pushing for that in the premiere, but it could just be another red herring.
