No, but she did a song with them on Astromantic. She was on Summer Time Love with Ryohei. And she's written a ton of m-flo songs: Love Don't Cry, Luvotomy, Stuck In Your Love, Simple and Lovely, and Love Song. I think she even sings background on "The Love Bug".
Singles:
01. Kis-My-Ft2 - SHE! HER! HER! (193,000) 02. KARA - Speed Up / Girls Power (99,000)
03. DiVA - Lost the way (65,000) 04. Namie Amuro - Go Round / YEAH-OH (47,000)
Not KARA booking the gerls.
Speed UP/Girls Power both are better than Namie's recycled stale singles, I don't see the problem here.

Well at least she has those masterpieces in her discog as writing credits. Plus Summer Time Love is fantastic so there's that.
Lemme check that May J song; that was one of the first ones I became aware of as far as jpop goes, but I never actually heard it.

10. miwa - guitarium (10,000)
I rounded the numbers, just in case anyone was wondering.
98,000? That's half of what Love Songs opened with.
I knew Ayumi wasn't going to pass 100k. To think that Love Songs opened with 180k. Even Five opened with more.
The figures for Go Round/YEAH-OH aren't bad, but they are rather low when compared to her last few singles. She hasn't opened with less than 50k for a single first-week since 2007 if my memory serves me right.
I really really REALLY want Namie's new album to surpass at least 100k in first week
Don't worry, it will. Past<Future sold over 300k first week, and while her new album will obviously sell less than that, I would be shocked to see a debut under 100k.

Yea, the sales aren't bad when you factor in some things as I posted before.
-No big tie in like her previous singles such as drama tie-ins and anime tie-ins
-No TV appearances
-Both "Go Round" & "YEAH-OH" not resonating that well with the Japanese
-"Love Story" still selling
She's been having longevity with her singles as of late though so I'm not expecting too much of a drop off come next week.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the sales, either. Longevity has been present as of late, I mean SSWD/LS sold twice in the long-run what it sold first week, no? She'll be fine.
It's a shame considering how great YEAH-OH is, though.
For anyone that was curious. Ayu had two days count as her first day due to a holiday. It's a shame shes falling fast though.
I finally gave both albums a listen and surprisingly enough, JAPONESQUE is miles better. Not that Kumi brought magic to the table or anything, but I couldn't even get through all of Party Queen.

Party Queen must be REALLY REALLY bad for you to say that.

Yes! SSWD/LS opened with 77k and is currently at 160k sold.
& yea, "YEAH-OH" is fire but I assumed it wouldn't be a big hit with the Japanese.
"Go Round" however is doing pretty nicely. Not "Love Story" status but still good. It debuted @ #1 on recochoku and fell off for a bit but it now currently sits at #4: http://recochoku.jp/recochoku_ranking/uta.html
recochoku is main digital retailer in Japan by the way so if you guys ever wanna know what the Japanese are diggin' you should head over there.
