About P!nk, she doesn't win awards because she doesn't really push for them. Look at Taylor, she's Tweeting (and Tweeted) links for VMA's and other things. I don't think she wants to win something like that. I know PP banded together to get her the Stupid Girls VMA and that was the last time she walked up a stage to accept a broadcasted music award (2006). It's also basically a fact that most awards are bought, therefore being meaningless in P!nk's eyes.
As for the album, I'm thinking October-November. I'm thinking that the gap between first single and album drop will be uncharacteristically short this time. My people were right about music coming, they were just off a week. Chatter is that this album isn't as poppy pop as TTAL and is more mellow but not the Lana Del Rey kind but more of a less harsh kind.

By mellow do you mean like Goodbye Lullaby (less the pop-rock tracks) and/or I'm Not Dead ballads (I Got Money Now etc).

Anyway y'all I still doubt it. Why would she release BOTH the Ellen song and the single in September? Unless the Ellen song IS the lead single or unless the Ellen song isn't getting released, I don't see it happening. I like the idea of releasing TTD on ha birthday and announcing the single on Ellen, but I still think it's too soon.
