Next Week's Adds Include the Latest from Ciara, David Guetta
Ciara is set to return with a brand-new studio album, and she has dropped the first official single from the set, "Sorry". The R&B jam recalls her best moments, (see: The Evolution). Will "Sorry" take off in the same way that "Like a Boy" and "Promise" did, or should she start handing out apologies now?
Flo Rida looks to keep his hot streak alive and score his 3rd #1 of 2012 with "I Cry". After the success of "Whistle" and "Good Feeling", it would surprise absolutely no one to see this song take off in a similar fashion.
Asaf Avidan is coming for a worldwide hit with his track "One Day / Reckoning Song". The track is already one of the most played overseas (garnered over 20,000,000 views on YouTube), and Asaf Avidan & the Mojos are now looking to takeover the states. After similar feats were accomplished by Carly Rae Jepsen, Gotye, Ellie Goulding, and now Psy, chances are that someday "One Day" will be playing on all Top 40 radio stations, and that day will be soon.

The good times kept on coming for Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen last week, as they both scored their second #1 singles with "Good Time". If they are going to make it two weeks in a row at #1, they are going to have to fight off a resilient Taylor Swift, who, despite what she might say, is fighting hard to get back with the #1 spot. Or is this the week Psy domination takes over the Sound Check chart?

Sound Check | One Direction Debuts + T-Swift vs. Psy For #1
For the week of October 7 - 13, 2012 For songs in the top 30, click on the screen-cap of the video to play the video.
A free-for-all has broken out on the countdown, as you have to look back to week 18 of this year to see the last time an artist has held on to the #1 spot for consecutive weeks (Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know"). Since then, only 3 artists (Carly Rae Jepsen, Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry) have been able to secure more than 1 week at #1, and an incredible 15 videos have hit #1 since Gotye's reign ended. Will this week be any different, or will it be more of the same, as Psy and One Direction both are strong contenders for the #1 spot. Then again there is still the imminent threat of Taylor Swift returning to #1 with "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together", as well as fan favorites "One More Night" by Maroon 5 and "Some Nights" by fun.
Find out who took home the crown in the 40th edition of the 2012 countdown, as well as to see the debuts from Scissor Sisters, Flo Rida, and the MVP of indie-rock this year, Grizzly Bear.
