And please do not try to make us pass for some obsessive chart lurkers when we are not. It remains incredibly weird to let good promotional opportunities go to waste for a woman who promotes so much.

ALL of them could have flopped, because they are all risky. Luckily only Run The World flopped, but Crazy In Love was a HUGE risk that could have flopped so hard. She doesn't put out generic, safe singles.

If its going to flop it will flop regardless. That's no reason to not give the song the biggest exposure possible.

Because it would be front loaded, all the talk and the hype would be immediate instead of built.

Think about any new song. If EVERYONE you know heard it within a day of eachother you all will be like "Have you heard that new song? Ya? Its great. I love it" and leave it at that. It becomes old news within a few days. When it's built up slowly it has more time to take and get into people's heads. Like, "Have you heard that new song? No? Let me show it to you, it's great" and then that person passes it on, and on, and so forth because it's still worth mentioning. I think people like to discover things, rather than being presented it right in their face.

That makes no sense, if she wanted to avoid that she could have released the song one week or two weeks before the SB at least as we were all sure she would. That excuse of front-loaded single is not cutting it.

Guys, give it up. We should be enjoying the fact that a new era is upon us, instead of being negative about the positive things that have already happened. Let's remember that SHE never promised us anything, so stop getting mad at her for not doing something you imagined would take place.

That is not true AT ALL! The timing of a release of a single is just as important, as the single itself. Timing could be the reason that a GREAT song smash or flop, or even a BAD song smash or flop.

You've had the GQ images and article, the Inauguration, the press conference, the Super Bowl, the tour promo video and the HBO documentary coming up to enjoy. You can enjoy these for what they are. If you're viewing them as missed opportunities then you're not going to be able to enjoy them properly. All we know is that an album may come out by April. We can't begin to assume things and then get mad about it when they don't come true. Beyonce is probably aware of these opportunities. So either she doesn't care about them or she has her own plan.

Was the 4 era really that bad for you because she didn't have a hit? Does that really even matter in the greater scheme of things? I loved it, it just felt too short.
