E.T. (Futuristic Lover) leaked in May, less than a week before California Girls leaked, as far as I remember. Both leaks I think were done by Katy/Capitol - E.T. to test the reaction to that sound from Katy and California Gurls because Katy has always said they were ready to release it and were just waiting around for no reason.
Yeah, reading the thread it seems as if it did. I didn't even hear the E.T. demo until like 2012, about the same time I heard the Part of Me demo
I remember I tried to download ET around the time the album came out and accidentally downloaded the ET demo. I didn't get the real version until a few months later
And I didn't know about the PoM and DU demos until mid 2011, but they both slayed me.
Actually I didn't even complete Teenage Dream until like a year later. I bought California Gurls the SECOND I heard it (like 2 weeks after it came out), but I didn't like the song Teenage Dream and didn't get it until a year later. I also skipped Peacock and Circle the Drain (I used to be a good religious boy. And I was 14 when TD came out)
