I actually agree with this. PQ is probably just a fluke and Hamasaki will probably never be able to top it. Guess we'll find out when album 14 is out in December

100% agree with you on that! "Last Links" and "Microphone" remain my favorites on that album and "You Were..." is by far one of Ayu's most emotional ballads.

Party Queen for me is a slight mess, too much experimenting going on in that album and its just kind of exploded into a mess. The middle of album slays the beginning and ending of the album by far. At least I can say this album is better than NEXT LEVEL.

Finished listening to 'SQUARE ONE' and I'm not really crazy about it tbh. The album needs more vocals/features.

She's So is actually one of the better tracks (along with "Yesterday", "Don't Stop me Now" & "All I Want is You")

I think it's going to grow on me. It's not something I normally listen to, so I'll have to get used to that. And you forgot "Run"(especially being in all English ) I'll give the album a B though.

And Newt, if you really want to try an m-flo album listen to Beat Space Nine or Cosmicolor first. I would say this wouldn't be a good place to start at all.

Definitely listen to Cosmicolor first, then Astromantic or Beat Space Nine. Either way just not Square One, even though I must say I quite enjoy it. I wish I knew what the skits were saying...

As far as Ayumi's album Party Queen goes I wasn't here for her boring ballads I think the only ballad I really liked on there is the next LOVE and only because of its jazzy feel. Not here for the man voice that is behind the tracking of Shake it... If that's even a man But I don't know I like the first two songs but I'm just really not here for her ballads Last time I got into an Ayumi ballad was when she did one for the Inuyasha soundtrack

Ayumi's ballads are so good. Even the later ones like Fated, Together When, Part Of Me. Only lately have they sucked, along with the rest of her music.
