i know that deja vu and dream sellers are from old sessions (i think m!ss times). the others might be too :/
I wonder if they've been re-registered so another artist can do them or is planning on doing them. I don't know if registrations expire or not.
But there is a lot of activity which is a good sign that what I've heard about a new album out in Sept/Oct is true.
My gut feeling is before Black Friday. GHSF went Top 5 due to BF sales and it's the best time to have an album out either on or before. Then you get continued sales during the holiday season if you're lucky
Well if the Sep/Oct thing is true then we should be getting a new single anytime soon (which I doubt)
But if it's for Black Friday then hopefully we should get something around Sept.
I mean, artists usually release a single 2 months in advance of the album release right?

It's hard to say. Normally P!nk has done a two month stretch before the album came out. I know it was a little longer for I'm Not Dead but she had to make a name for herself. Coming off of TTAL, I don't know if she'd need 2 months.
Not sure. They've done the Vanguard award 2 years in a row already and before that they did it in 2011. So that's 2011, 2013, 2014 and the one before that was 2006
The record is 9 years in a row, from the start to 1992, and continued again in 1994. So I guess it's possible that they would try to garner steam again having not given it out since 2006. P!nk has always been very involved with MTV and the only person who I can think of from that time frame would be Eminem. But he might not want to perform which could cost him the award.
So yeah, if they've already picked somebody for the MJVVA this year, I haven't heard about it.

^ Honestly, though, I can't think of anyone more deserving of it than P!nk. It would be really nice to see her get it. Although if that's the case, it's more likely she'd do a medley than premiere a new single, so I don't know that she'd do that. Regardless, anything could happen. It'd be nice!

But we all know she won't get it. I feel that's the only frustrating thing when it comes to being a P!nk fan - how little recognition she gets. When Nicki Minaj ranted about not getting a nod for choreography, I was like please - P!nk didn't even get one for TRY.

Right? She literally is always the underdog of the pop girls. She's popular, but she's always overlooked, and it's a shame because she's got more talent than most of the pop girls put together. The fact that she didn't get a choreography nomination for "Try" is insulting, and it's even more irritating to know that, with that being said, Nicki Minaj felt she was deserving of a nomination because she shook her ass on camera and called it "feminism." That's irritating.... But let's be real, P!nk will be a legend one day while all of her peers are going to be forgotten wannabes.
What's funny is that P!nk is actually one of the most awarded females at the VMAs. Britney only got hers post breakdown and is now tied with P!nk at 6 wins (included the VVA). Of her contemporaries only Beyonce and Lady gaga have more wins. Janet and Madonna are the other two with more wins.
Maybe she doesn't lobby for awards as much as the others? Maybe she doesn't pay for them. I don't know. While her videos are great on average, I feel that she doesn't have that one video to trump them all. I think "Try" stands out so much because not only is it beautifully choreographed but it's filmed in HD. Same with JGMAR.
And what changed? The lack of Dave Myers. His videos just don't look good. "Funhouse" was okay but that was the desert and how can you make that look bad. He just doesn't seem to have a good eye for HD filming. Blow Me was ruined by being in black and white.
Agreed. I think she doesn't have that pop-star music video, like Thriller or Bad Romance. Which is something I really want her to have, purely from a stan POV, but she's not into that it seems.
Try is just beautiful and till this day I still love it, and watch it almost every day. I was surprised it didn't get more attention, but again I guess we live in an age where talent is not always appreciated.

I tried to get over that whole Nicki crying situation....but the amount of work and dedication that went into "Try" and it got no recognition from the VMAs is frustrating.
Oh well...let's see if Nicki has the success and longevity that P!nk has!
