Ok just finished my first listen, this album has SLAYED me, much more than i anticipated. Imo it is her most heartfelt and authentic album we have ever got from her, much more than her previous ones whilst still serving bops that are some of her best. It is up there with BTW but with less crazy.

Overall an EXCELLENT album. Much better than i thought i would like it considering i was dragging it based on the snippets. She is on another level to the other girls. The album has so much feeling in it. Slay me queen

Diamond Heart - 6/10 - weak track to open the album
A-Yo - 9/10 - my favorite from the album
Joanne - 7/10 - It is simple but it will grow on you. (Sounds like a Linda Perry song to me)
John Wayne - 5/10 - it has a nice energy but sounds generic
Dancing In Circles - 8/10 - This sounds a like a hit pop record with country production
Perfect Illusion - 9/10 - I like the energy of it but I agree it doesn't fit with the rest of the album
Million Reasons - 9/10 - I think this one is a classic
Sinner's Prayer - 7/10 - This is a cute song
Come to Mama - 8/10 - It has a nice groove and it's catchy.
Hey Girl - 7/10 - It is different, there are parts I love but then it seems there is something missing
Angel Down - 5/10 - Boring to me

I've only had a chance to listen once, so I'm not making any final judgements yet. A lot of the songs sound like they could be good, but she's ruining them with her different vocal affectations. I wish she would just sing with her real voice instead of whatever strange accent she decides to adopt each time she visits the recording studio.
