Here's my desperate explanation for those things.
She obviously was in the studio, but the paparazzi never captured it. And we had like several pics of her going to studio to record roseave with Dallas.
Now that she moved to Santa Ynez, I guess it's harder to track her movement and everything. We barely get any paparazzi shoots anymore.
While she lived in Malibu, she was often seen everywhere, cuz Malibu is like celebrity heaven.
As for insiders/promoters/managers not having a clue, that's probably cuz she wants to keep it that way. We kinda knew before roseave, cuz the album was released like one month after first single dropped. Remember that TTAL was released like almost 3 months after BM was announced. Many artists are finishing their albums during that time and making the final cut (deciding the tracklist and possible singles).
Also, I kinda think that she was inspired by Beyonce's surprise release (remember that she praised her on twitter) and how she made everything in secret.
