I'll just edit this post with my thoughts on the album.
Party Queen, while not a terrible track, is still pretty weak. Tim had the true tea, the verses are pretty good, the chorus is cheesy. The beat isn't even that enticing. I expect more for the title track. 3.5/5
NaNaNa has the same problem, no part of the song stands out very much. The auto-tune she uses is cute though, especially when she says "Nanana". Just NO at the guy talking throughout the track
3.5/5
Shake It is the best track so far. The production keeps me entertained (especially during the bridge), the vocals are on point, and there's a strong melody. Finally. 4/5
Taskebab is a boring use of electronica, don't use. 2/5
Call - YAS. The verses are a good build up to the great chorus. It's not muddled by too much production and Ayu sounds nice and clear for the most part. Here for this
4.5/5
Letter - Another strong ballad though not as great as call. The up-tempos are definitely not delivering on this album like the ballads, which is a mess considering the album cover and the album title.
4/5
Remind Me is just a yawnfest. She's done stuff like this many, many times before and this doesn't compare. I enjoyed the start of the song and the end but I get bored somewhere in the middle
3/5
Return Road - Wonderful! Another good ballad. I don't feel much for the verses but the chorus is ear candy. Dis is a good Ayu Pop ballad
. The eclectic instrumentation randomly throughout the song is amusing as well.
4.5/5
Tell Me Why -
2.5/5
A Cup of Tea -
4/5
The Next Love - An interesting, jazz influenced instrumentation keeps the song from being stale but Ayumi does not know what she is doing on this track. Ultimately forgettable. 2.5/5
Eyes, Smoke, Magic - Had I not heard the preview, that initial synthesizer pulse at the start would have given me some hope for a real good club banger this time round. It then proceeded to dissolve into a cutesy mess. 2.5/5
Serenade in A Minor - Meh 2/5
How Beautiful You Are - Corny, cheesy, tired. 3/5
