Btw guys, someone who apparently works for a big radio station in Chicago has messaged me and said Capitol has confirmed to them that Birthday is the next single... Plus he told to me research in the Pulse Music Board and found this:

I e-mailed Greg again thanking him, and we exchanged a few more emails mostly relating to the "Uncondtionally" debacle. Capitol never expected it to do well, but "a big influence in her life" convinced her that it was a hit (and I'm assuming that's John Mayer, not God).

More tidbits:
- "Walking On Air" was going to be the third single and "will probably still be a single sometime down the road"
- Another "big frontrunner" is "Ghost" (!) (this genuinely surprised me, even though I really like it)

I'm just glad she's leaning "Birthday" next.

Am I the only one who hates all of the songs on the last half of the album sans "Spiritual"? They all sound the same, boring ballad/mid-tempo filler trash.

And Walking On Air should definitely be the next single. It's one of those songs that would really only work in the summer, even one of those songs that sounds better in a warm cheery atmosphere.

I felt a similar way on my first listen. However, on subsequent plays, I let the light in, got to know the songs better and now Ghost is my favourite

Same as you! CG bought her to my attention, but it was her other material that made me fan. Been over 3 1/2 years now I have stanned for her.
