Argh. Small budget. Let me see if any action movies with that small of a budget ever did good at the boxoffice.
THIS. Look at John Carter, this movie made about 250m, and it got in US 70m... ok, WW sales is saving from flop, but still..... BIG Budget doesnt equal great movie....
What is wrong with a supporting role, pls she doesnt have a big name in the business, yet. I see so many times bigger names as Sel in supporting role. This is a tough business. I think, Sel wants to try herself in an action movie, and this a good step.
I think films have a seperate budget for promo... I think they have the movie budget and then the promo budget... eg: John Carter cost 250mil to make... then they spent a further 70mil on promo

What? Big budgets usually mean studio have confidence in the script, cast and are willing to pay for quality producers/directors and invest in a marketing campaign. Some movies with big budgets flops, but the majority of blockbusters do well.

I think Paranormal Activity holds some kind of record for making that much money out of a film that cost only 15,000 to make
