I mean, I'll defend Kelly to the death when I know I'm right, but Rihanna is more WW than Kelly. Kelly hasn't sold the same amount.. that 24 mil looks pretty inflated. Isn't Kelly only around 18-19m WW? Thankful 3 mil, Breakaway 11 or 12, MD 1.5, AIEW 1.5? 2? and Stronger about 2?

It can't be more than 20m.

It is for sure more then 20 million.

See the 7 singles top 10 ? Kelly has 10 top 10 singles which means they haven't updated it since the release of All I Ever Wanted.

Which means they didn't include My Life Would Suck Without You, Mr.Know It All and Stronger. So that statistic is post all I Ever Wanted.

AIEW sold 1.4 sales and Stronger 1.2 sales so far. So it would bring to a total of 23 million.

And last year (before the Stronger era began) this was reported:

In terms of single success, I actually think Alone would be the biggest hit. But realistically they should probably release You Love Me and if not that, TWIO.

After Stronger, Alone peaked the highest on iTunes when the album was released. It made it into the 40s or something I think on overall iTunes if I remember correctly, while Stronger almost hit Top 20. That means those two songs connected with the public the most, and what more can we ask for in a hit? Dark Side, I think, was actually in the lowest 5 charting songs on the album. That probably explains why it's been SUCH a struggle for DS to climb on iTunes. The label should seriously consider Alone, tbh.

I think You Love Me got the most critical acclaim on the reviews and I've seen a lot of Twitter/random love for that song. I think people would connect with it.

They can write 23 or 24 million all they want, and while I'd love it to be true, I don't think it is. We all know official blogs and websites can mess up easily on statistics. There are always incompetent interns that will take anything as a real source and post it. Hell, kellyclarkson.com had posted "What Doesn't Kill Me" as the single name at one point before it was corrected

Maybe that's why the label went with it for single 3 and maybe they will do Alone for the next one

I think the video for Alone could be kind of cool if she put effort into it. And TSWR needs a Country remix feat. Miranda for sure. I'd love that. They could be released simultaneously to keep Kelly's name out there in the Pop and Country worlds

Also, note the absence of Flopstein anywhere to be FOUND on that list. And the flawless SIFOY breaking the Top 100

Actually MJ the 23 million did come from RCA. Before the Stronger era RCA gave the information of 23 million albums WW, 36 million singles WW according to Nielson Soundscan.

They included that in a bio for Kelly when she did the charity event, Celebrity Fight Nights (March 19, 2011). I knew someone at the KCE had gotten the program for it.

Oh, I wasn't debating that the figure didn't come from RCA, but RCA are flops. As I said, they put the wrong single name on her own damn website, lol. But we have no actual receipts for anything over 12 mil for Breakaway.. everything is just a guess. I want it to be 24 mil I just don't see it?

I think most stans feel the same way about that. The only song I don't like on Stronger is Einstein for those ****ing FLOPTASTIC lyrics. And I hate the intro to IFY.. and WDYT puts me to sleep, even though it's a flawless vocal. I like all the rest.
