Most of the artists didn't do a bad job, but good Lord.... Ellie ruined it. And I didn't recognize Paul Epworth at all! Anyways... Rita Ora, Sam Smith, and Dan from Bastille were probably the best out of all the vocalists. Emeli did a nice job but didn't have a huge part; same with Paloma. Ed Sheeran did okay, too. Some of them were just horrendous, though.... Ellie, Seal, and One Direction, especially. And what was with Sinead O'Connor's weird "dance" movements during her part? She put Lorde to shame.

Everyone is pretty much on Adele's side in this situation.
I just realized that when Bob said she wasn't doing anything, he was insulting her. The woman has a child and is working on an album. Who the hell is he to assume that she's not doing anything and therefore should just hop on that track?
And he called her 100 times.

Ah, now we know why Adele wasn't on it! It was released over a year before she even graduated from The BRIT School

He was talking to the journalist, not about Adele

This still makes no sense though, if she's not writing or recording, then what on earth was she doing with RT and Diane Warren this year? Maybe it's done and she's chilling with her family until it's released and she has to go back out there again? Is that even possible or is that just wishful thinking? :/

Geldof sounds like a whiny little bitch at this point. He wanted her to do it and she didn't, I get it. But I don't need to read about the same **** again and again. I'm just more and more glad she isn't part of this project, especially if she donated.

He can be as salty and whiny as he wants. It's done, nothing he can do now so he ought to keep his disappointment and looney swearing on air to himself.
I'm more concerned about when we're getting her own new music...

I just read the article about Adele not doing that BandAid thing and tbh i was worried they'd be a lot of backlash considering every big artist in the UK is doing it but the comments shocked me . This one right about sums it up:

Oh. My. God! She didn't drop everything for Bob Geldof? If Bob wants to raise money, maybe he should stand outside of Harrod's, dressed as Santa, and ask for donations. That would get him more money than any crappy song he writes.
|
Perfect
It reminded me of when Beyonce & Jay Z didn't do that We Are The World remake. And this whole thing from this gundolf guy just screams lets boost our ego's and stuff. All these people together could've donated more from their own pockets than whatever is going to be raised.
Am sure the final thing that made Adele pull out was hearing Rim Oral's loose pu$$y was involved , she probably touched and left a different STD on every piece of equipment

Ellie said so herself that she didn't want to do it because she thought her voice wouldn't fit. Am sure someone guilted her into doing it with the "it for charity" line at the sake of her reputation. She has too unique of a voice to do stuff with this many people and stands out in a weird now

01. Nov., 13.00 Uhr: „Adele, Bob Geldof hier. Wir singen „Do They Know It’s Christmas“ neu ein. Wir brauchen dich. Ruf mich doch mal zurück.“
04. Nov., 13.30 Uhr: „Adele, wir haben den Text verändert: „No peace and joy this Christmas in West Africa.“ Bono dachte, Seal könnte die Zeile singen. Call me!“
06. Nov., 21.00 Uhr: „Hey Adele! Hast du versucht mich anzurufen? Mein Telefon hat geklingelt. Wohl nicht. Egal. Ruf mich zurück. Ciao. Ach ja, hier ist Bob. Also Geldof. Wir hören uns“
07. Nov., 14.00 Uhr: „Hey Adele, Bono hier.
11. Nov., 16.03 Uhr: „Adele, it’s Bob.
13. Nov., 18.40 Uhr: (leises Seufzen) Klick.
15. Nov., 03.12 Uhr: „Adele, du fette Cockney-Schlampe! Scheiß auf dich. Ich habe ****ing Bono. Hörst du! Bono!“
17. Nov., 11.34 Uhr: „Adele, es ist Bob. Bono ist vom Fahrrad gefallen. Er muss operiert werden. Bitte ruf mich zurück.“
