I can't understand how Pop Bars apportioned the Prince singles. I hope BB does a better job. Some of the songs should chart on both Rock and R&B/Hip-Hop, and maybe only Rock for Let's Go Crazy and Purple Rain. The 2004 rendition of "While My Guitar Slowly Weeps" will definitely chart Rock (thanks to Prince), as it's at close to 70% of the main TSOS version.

Did anyone else notice how other recently deceased artists also had sizeable gains on ITunes? I see Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Kevin Sharp (Country), and David Bowie all at higher positions than they were prior to Prince's death.

And apparently the reason the Foo Fighter's remake of Darling Nikki isn't charting because it's not available on ITunes. FF has 200 tracks listed on there, and DN isn't one of them. I'm surprised honestly.

Wham had a fun song, but Purple Rain is definitely better. Wham's hit was huge worldwide which is why it smashed here and jumped Purple Rain. The US didn't want to be left behind. Prince deserved the #1 though. Wham should've waited a week.

So... If Drake is selling around 25k a day.. Prince is doing 150k+ a day for at least 2 days. So he's at least on 300k already. He can do 500k this week and I do think he can be number 1 this week. Insane. He isn't decreasing fast at all.
