Amazing. Just give it the Destiny Knot and breed it! There's always the chance that 4 of the perfect IVs will be passed down and the 1 flop IV will as well, but eventually (sooner rather than later in all likelihood) you'll get all 5 of the perfect ones to pass.

Gardevoir possibly, but maybe not just because you can have only 1 mega evolution and it'd be a waste to use it on Gardevoir when there's better options.
I don't think it's only Gengar that's really overpowered.

Lucario isn't that OP tho it is still managable
Charizard is just as weak as before and i can see Ninetales being the better choice just because she takes less SR damage. Charizard is just too fragile. And weather isn't the same as in Gen 5 now since it got nerfed.
Well normal Blaziken is already OP so nothing changes here ( )
Mega Gardevoir isn't OP becaus she isn't fast enough and has no Physical bulk

Altho my Lvl 100 Pidgeot from Blue was amazing so I think I'll keep my Pidgey around. Watch me only use the Gen 1 Pokemon since I don't know anything about the new ones

His potential is outstanding.
What about if I give the female a power item? 4/5 of the male's IV's will pass down and the IV's on that stat of the female will be guaranteed to pass as well?

I believe it works like that; if you breed the 5 perf IV male w/ Destiny Knot w/ a female with the missing perf IV + appropriate power item, it *should* result in a perfect offspring. I'm not exactly sure how power items override the Destiny Knot, but it would make sense this way.

Destiny knot chooses 5 random IVs and it chooses them from either parent oppsed to the normal 3. But yeah you can give a Power Item to get one specific stat and the other 5 will be from either parent

IDK, there are a lot of other viable megas and you have to keep in mind that Absol can only work on your team if it occupies your mega slot. Espeon will be his go-to alternative, which almost guarantees her a spot in OU, imo.

Lucario was already in OU, its mega-evolution is literally a much better version of itself. It has 145 attack, 140 sp. attack, 112 speed, and its ability powers up its Fighting/Steel moves by 2x instead of 1.5x. Close Combat wrecks teams, Aura Sphere/Flash Cannon could as well.
Mega Gardevoir I would mostly agree with. If you can switch it in at the right moment it can be devastating, but it's too situational. Its psychic/fairy type makes it very useful though.
About Mega Charizard Y, you can't tell me that a 159 Sp. Attack, 100 Speed with drought and an amazing movepool isn't overpowered. Especially with its imrpoved Sp. Defense of 115 as well, so it can take a good hit. I know drought only lasts 5 turns, but it's still great.

Okay, I'll try it!
The problem is that I don't have The Power thingy for Sp. Def.
But it doesn't matter anyway, I'm just gonna put Power Anklet on ha because I wanna be sure of the perfect Speed.
And there's still the Nature, the ability AND the correct Hidden Power to breed. The struggle for a Mega Manectric.

Oh did you guys hear? Defog (flying type move, HM in Sinnoh I believe?) now removes entry hazards on BOTH sides of the field.

Actually, !Blo! says that Destiny Knot just takes 5 IVs from either parent and gives them to the offspring, so you won't be guaranteed the 5 perf from the male parent. Serebii says so too, it seems. But still, you'll have great chances. Just make sure you check the IVs.
(edit: omg I keep double posting y'all need to post more I'm still in XY mode when the page moved at lightning speed)

BUt Lucario has no great defenses and one Mach punch can do terrible things to it plus it is nearly unusable when paralyzed since it can't take hits
Charizard looses half of its HP with SR and even with good 100 base Speed there are enough thing that can ouspeed and kill it fast

Yes. This can be really good for offensive teams that don't rely on entry hazards.

Lucario's 88 defense and 70 HP not bad at all though. It's 70 Sp. Defense is meh, but not bad.
And yeh, Charizard's SR weakness sucks. Luckily Spikes are used more often than SR nowadays, but it's still a big weakness. I still think it's amazing though, but maybe not good enough to be banned.
Meh. I use

BUt those defenses are not good enough for Uber and OU Pokemon can handle it.
M-Charizard is definitely not terrible it might be able to rise from the depths of NU
But isn't OP either
Can anyone else see Garchomp tgoing to OU now?

Well, I'll take those odds lol. And who cares if the Attack IV doesn't pass down.
And I'm going to.
OMG I'm COMPLETELY BROKE. I have $18k left.

Some of you girls swear SR is auto-put on the field at the start of every battle and no spinners exist and Defog's updated mechanic (although since it lowers Evasion it might be banned)
M-Charizard X is easily used with support, and 111 Defense and 78 HP isn't really the making of a Glass Cannon, nor is a Fire/Dragon typing. Even as a lead where you Mega Evolve at the start of the battle is safe for it. Charizard X has room for it to wreck havoc and be a viable Pokemon in OU, it has great coverage too, and is one of the few Dragon types that won't take 2x Damage from Fairy types.
