You completely missed the point of my post. She's in a very bad position rn and doesn't have strong legs to stan on until 2016 but I still doubt she will make that record for 2015. Regina writes on tour so it's easy for her to release every 2 year. Katy, for whatever reason, doesn't and it's obvious they will add more dates after the Super Bowl instead of focusing on making another record.
Stop she's in the most successful female tour of the year, she's all around the world, gaining praise for her tour. She had a very successful female era and she's playing the Super Bowl. She has already secured her relevancy in 2015. She'll be here in 2016 with new music.
If I were her, I'd be sure to visit SA to guarantee long-term dedication there (won't they shred you into pieces if you don't?) And Asia (to start a bigger fan base there) rather than making a new record. Katy herself wants to visit China etc and establish herself more WW. And that's a good thing.
If she's worried about staying relevant, just get a feature on R8 to secure 2015 Done and done.
