Whilst anything could happen in future with these pop girls, I feel Gaga's career is far less uncertain than most. Contrary to the scaremongering.
To survive long-term in pop you need at least 2 of the 3:
1) Self reliance. The ability to write yourself out of a rut with no need for expensive hit-makers, because they'll be the first to go once you start to under-perform. Once you start falling down the label pecking order, it's incredibly difficult to reverse it unless someone above has passed on a surprise hit.
2) Fanbase. Peaks are a piece of cake - it's surviving the lows that separate the fads from the legends. And to do that, you're going to need a loyal, numerous fanbase. People who will buy you album, tickets, merch and products regardless, until the GP jump back on ship, and keep the money flowing in so your label still views you as an asset and invests.
3) Drive. Obvious, but you have to have a fighting spirit and ambition to put up with all the ups and downs. You're not going to get a multi-decade career whilst being anything less than relentless and tough.
She has all 3. But beyond that, with Gaga you can tell that her career is going to live beyond pop...so even if she doesn't sustain chart success, it's easy to imagine her keeping at it and remaining interesting for a while. Whether that be different genres, fashion, starring in films, writing soundtracks or creating musicals.
She looks incredible here. Her boobs look amazing, she looks so pretty and high fashion.
