I would like this warning point to be reversed, because I was NOT intending to be insensitive. I was simply referring to two high school kids I knew that were on cheer and didn't let people who talked about them get the best of them, because being a male cheerleader is still very cliché unfortunately.

It's sad to hear about a 12 year old committing suicide - just because he was doing what he loved. Honestly, this hit close to home to me in a couple ways. First of all, the fact he committed suicide because he was a male cheerleader: and I went to a school that had male cheerleaders on the team. I'm not going to bring up their names but you know who you are and more respect to you guys for being on the team without giving a damn what people thought. Because it's becoming more apparent to me that male cheerleading is still such a "controversial" thing to a bunch of idiots that it requires any guy that does it to be bullied #rolleyes. The other reason this hit close to home to me is becuase the kid was described as not caring what people thought and being the happiest person around and brightening everyone's day. That's something that a LOT of people that went to school with me have said about me over the years. It's definitely hard if you have problems you don't feel comfortable opening up about because of that image. I had that problem, but I managed to finally open up to my friends when I had problems (privately of course). It honestly just feels better to TELL someone when something is going wrong in your life. I was never suicidal though, thankfully. Unfortunately, for Ronin, he was and he acted out on it and how he's gone. Bullying needs to stop. May he R.I.P.
