For a musical it doing fine, Sony predicted 18 million and it just shy of that

LOL @ mediocre. This was just the opening week (only in the US and Canada) and it did quite good for a musical.

Burlesque's 3 first days grossed 11.8M which is below those three movies, but we can't say it did worse than those because we're counting weekdays.

I have never compared those movies to Burlesque, but about that 5 day run thing... I think if Burlesque only had a 3 day run, the people who went to see the movie on Wednesday and Thursday would have probably still watched it, but instead of seeing it on those days, they would have watched it on Friday or Saturday or Sunday... at least, that's what I think
