It's not really that important for it to be mainstream in the US. It never will be anyway, even at its peak it will always be considered an underground movement here IMO and I'm fine with that. K-Pop should stay focused in Asia and just use the internet and concerts to reach global audiences.

But damn! this year has been crazy for K-Pop...seems like the whole world is being converted, sold-out concerts, millions of youtube views within few day, worldwide awards, heavyweight record labels signing Kpop acts....etc.

The video proves nothing, they can simply tape it after the results come out, I don't see the problem.

It's done up to death and the results have been out for hours. The amount of time to put together that clip + all the filming, lighting, touch-ups, etc...

They can simply tape the video before announcing the results, not to mention that award shows always do that when the winner isn't attending.

I honestly believe they got the most votes, the dedication of Kpop fans is off the hook, and it feels like they're almost international, there's a lot of hype around them online.
