The Taeyeon performance was lacking mostly due to the boring stage and the awful camera work. They did her wrong with that empty stage and those zoomed out stagnant shots. Why would you even zoom out for a solo anyway??
But mostly due to the fact she's no BoA or Taemin. Hormegirl never gave 2 ***** about dancing and SM gave her an empty without any props a bunch of back up dancer and she had to act as if she was on an EXO level of choreography.
This whole era seems like SM just misstook Taeyeon for Yuri.

True her whole sound and style this era didn't really seem her. Hopefully SM realizes that for the next comeback.
