If it wasn't for Sparks Fly, there's no #1 single on this album.
If Mean was released on pop, the only chance of it smashing is if it was remixed by Dr. Luke and Gottwald(?) or by Calvin Harris

They need to rework their management style. At least they were successful with the band perry.
. It also helped that so many of the major acts of today lack the quality in their music so it makes Adele and Taylor just look way better but radio has never been here for two quality artists getting huge radio play which is why Taylor hasn't had the huge pop success that she should have as well.
although if u wanna shade the dual release of TSOU and mean, i'm all ears !!
I mean Mean would have at least been decent on popand if it didn't at least it had the country audience but now we have the flop of TSOU because of that move. I still like TSOU though
