you know what, i dont think these kinds of sales reflect the quality of the album properly! if adele had released it any other time, had RITD not been such a hit, had SLY not exploded in UK .. the album wouldn't have been this massive!
if you hear 19, i'd say on the whole it was a better album !
and its not specific to her, taylor's fearless, MJs thriller .... its just the right aim at the right time..!!
. It also helped that so many of the major acts of today lack the quality in their music so it makes Adele and Taylor just look way better but radio has never been here for two quality artists getting huge radio play which is why Taylor hasn't had the huge pop success that she should have as well.
