My point is, Bernie has been neck and neck with her in every state that goes democratic in the GE. Most of his supporters aren't likely to make the switch to Hillary and if he continues to have these close races like this in swig states, etc that is not good news for November. Her support in a lot of states is weaker than expected and if she can't recruit Bernie's supporters, it'll be hard for her to win a lot of those states.

And once again, the political leaning of the state in the primary doesn't matter, unless you really expect anyone to believe VT is going red in the fall.

This rhetoric is just used to dismiss Sanders's poor performance with black voters in the South.

I agree but I don't see why else he'd vow to stay in the race until the convention. It keeps him in the public eye, allows him to continue spreading his message, etc.

I doubt he'll do it, but it wouldn't surprise me. He has the support to do it. Republicans absolutely hate Trump and think he would be disastrous so I'm not sure if it'll entirely help Trump. Hillary could very well be the "moderate" candidate and win the election that way.

I feel like the Democratic Party needs to unite and get itself together. Because I feel like Sanders voters may not side with Hillary and we will have a much smaller outcome for her.
