I was thinking about this **** last night. No wonder why so many people hate the United States and you know what's ironic? So many people here have this "holier than thou" mentality when in reality we aren't ****. We're broke. Our healthcare sucks. Our government is ********. Our education system sucks. Oh wait we are #1 when it comes to gun-related deaths in developed countries. We are #1 when it comes to police related deaths. This country is a ****ing embarrassment.
A black man can get killed for selling cigarettes on the side walk, walking in the street, taking a shortcut home, but a white guy can open fire in a movie theater killing 12 and injuring 70 and be brought into custody alive?
Oh, but the 12% of the blacks in America account for ~50% of the annual murders. About 90% of their victims are black males. No one denies that black-on-black crime is an issue. It clearly is, but that doesn't justify the justice system labeling our whole race based on a few bad apples. Furthermore, the majority of white murders are at the hand of a white counterpart. This is just common sense as you are more likely to interact with someone of your own race. Why isn't there an outrage about white-on-white crime?
People make such a big deal about police officers killing black people because we pay taxes for these mother****ers to serve and protect our asses yet, ironically, they're some of the people we have to fear most. They want to see us fail. Then they talk about fatherless children in the black community when in reality a lot of that can be attributed to the fact that a lot of black men fall victim to the justice system that was set up to target them. The fact is Caucasians abuse drugs way more than blacks, but 45% of people incarcerated for drug possession are black. You know why? Because these bitches will go in a impoverished, predominantly black neighborhood and make arrests way before they go to the pristine suburbs. Trust me, I grew up in a upper-middle class, gated community and best believe Sue's mom up the street was addicted to pain killers and Billy's dad down the street snorted a line or two everyday before work, but they don't give a damn.
They see it as... the less blacks on the street whether they be dead or behind bars the better. In their eyes we are either a threat to society or just simply inferior to them. White people steal, do drugs, murder, rape, molest kids, commit mass shootings, everything, but they can do that.
This isn't to completely disregard the clear work we need to do within our neighborhoods ourselves because there clearly are issues, but a lot of our issues come as an indirect result of a war on classes, racism, and oppression.
