Well their relationship is a business relationship. Harvey sees the advantage in having such a famous singer attached to his projects. It brings media attention and promotion. This makes him more money as his films get more advertising and press.
Taylor is very attractive and charming so all straight men will notice this. Harvey is married though and has actresses vying for his favour. Why would he seek to do something that would potentially damage a relationship with Taylor that could prove financially lucrative? Especially when Taylor is famous for singing about her relationships?
