I disagree cause BTINH was pretty obviously her try at creating a second Irreplaceable, which obviously didnt succeed. PH however marks a new kind of Beyonce anthem I believe. It just has this great message, a very catchy chorus, great melody and structure. I believe it could be a possible signature song by her.

I don't care about what smashes. Sure, I'd love for all her singles to have huge success/no. 1s. PH is an amazing record with a strong real message with a hella strong video. Beyonce goes there in the video, one of her best I might add.

True. That's got to have helped it but I think it would do well even without him. Perhaps not #2 though because the chemistry is what makes the song have that special quality, but I think it would still outperform XO.

Well the thing is, she does need smashes in order for her album to sell contionously within the next couple of months. Smashers are just needed to really stabilize the album sales, cause they are important in the end.

No. The same thing happened with "Diva" and it still ended up doing good. Partition has been losing AI recently, so maybe the label told them to not play it, just yet.

Obviously, it will be the next urban single after DrIL, which should be soon since DrIL is peaking/peaked on urban radio. I don't see Partition doing much on Top 40, so I think they should send PH until the summer, which is when Blow should be released.

You girls are stuck in the IASF era. Its sad tbh. PH needs to be released on the 5th or 6th single. Or do like Jason Derulo did with Talk Dirty. Release it everywhere except the US then after its smashed elsewhere release it to the states. But I honestly dont want a hit ballad til the end of the era. Its like she'd be selling herself short again
