I was SO trying to wait till Monday to listen to this, and I gave in after an hour

So my first impressions...

Heartbeat Song [8/10]
Totally can see now why it was chosen as lead single. Again, I ADORE this song and it's just an earworm of a song. Its a great bridge between her last albums on this one, although it is slighty out of place production wise...

Invinvible [10/10]
Vocally, I ADORE this song. While I LOVED Stronger, that one thing that was missing was her vocal acrobatics, and she gave me them with this song.

Someone [9/10]
There is something so peacefull and calm, but it still hots you hard. And the lyrics are just

Take You High [7.5/10]
Its a good song, I ADORE the chorus and the production that follows. There verses are meh. My only realy problem is that there is no...climax (other than the production after the chorus). Vocally I wanted her to do more...

Piece By Piece [9.5/10]
By far the best song Lyrically. Love the production as well and she sounds amazing. Honest song and its very touching...

Run Run Run [10/10]
My favorite song off the album. Her vocals on this track are just so...seductive. I love how the song builds and get bigger and bigger. And Kelly and John sound AMAZING together. John added something to this song that just took it to another level for me...

I Had a Dream [7/10]
I love that it is something different as far as lyrics for Kelly. It has a nice flow to it. I feel like it will be a grower for me

Let Your Tears Fall [8/10]
There is something magical about the production. I love the vibe of the track and it puts a smile on my face.

Tightrope [8.5/10]
I really love this track, the ONLY thing that holds it back is that epic vocal slayage. It does get a bit...monotone, but I still adore it and the lyrics

I just needed something more vocally and it would be a 10...

War Paint [8/10]
I Was expecting a ballad. And I feel like it would have worked better as a ballad as far as the lyrics are concerned. That being said its still a great song.

Dance With Me [9/10]
This is what I was expecting from Take You High. Its a grea track just to dance too, but she sounds great and its just a cute Kelly dance bop. Its feels very...80's bowie is the best way I can describe it (especially in the chorus)

Nostalgic [9.5/10]

OMG i LOVE the production on this track. I just wanna dance. And the lyrics are just great. I really got taken aback with this song. There is something thats holding me back from giving it a 10, but im sure after some time it will be a 10 for me.

Good Goes the Bye [8.5/10]
I liked the demo, and while I thing the production is great in the chorus, I do wish it was more ballady...I think I would love it more

There is something magical with this track. Its smooth...I feel like listening to this track in the car riding along the beach.

Second Wind [7/10]
Its ok. Im ok with it being a deluxe track. I like it, but probably the weakest for me.

Overall its a strong effort from Kelly...

I feel like im one of the few that think Stronger was Kelly's best album...While it doesnt have the lows that Stronger had, Stronger had You Love Me and Honestly, and I ADORE these two track so much. But with that being said, I can say (for now) this is my favorite Kelly album. Maybe its an age thing too, cuz Im happy and in love, and at a different age. Kelly doesnt seem like shes trying to cater to the nornal young pop listeners...this cates more to the Hot AC crowd and i LOVE that.

While people (the important ones whose opinion gets added into Metacritic, not random nobodies who started hating Kelly cuz he didn't like the stans) who've heard the album claim it's mostly cohesive. All good!

Absolute Trash. This song was almost enough to make me burn my stan card and douse it in holy water.

Invincible [9/10]
Love the Already Gone influences it has. Overall, a better first single than the other song (which has been removed from my iTunes.)

If it didn't have the Crazy Frog influence, this would be flawless.

Relentless perfection. One of the best songs of her career.

Y'all are overrating "Nostalgic" like crazy. The chorus is just meh to me. It picks up in the bridge, but it's not even in the top half of the album for me.

As for the album, I'm loving it. I feel like the stronger tracks (namely PBP and "Invincible") were released already, but it's a very cohesive album that shows a great progression between this and "Stronger." The only tracks I find myself skipping now upon my fourth listen are "I Have a Dream" (the subject matter and melodies just don't hook me), "Nostalgic," and "Second Wind."
