I think it was around 1.5M at the time. Meaning TFM has shifted nearly 3M copies as a deluxe edition of TF and another 1.5M as a standalone EP.

Honey has a point when they want to use #s to prove their point, but any other time denies to take #s into account. No.
Yeah, I don't think TFM has sold over 3m copies in the US. You're basically saying that after TFM was released, people stopped buying TF alone and only bought TFM or the Deluxe, which counted towards TF's sales. People still bought TF by itself and TMB tour is what caused TF to blow up.
If I'm not mistaken, and you can correct me, TFM alone counted towards TFM and the deluxe counted towards both TFM and TF, so that means 1.5m is the #s for both, otherwise the # for TFM would be higher. I mean, if the deluxe counted towards TFM alone as well as TF alone, why would they not count that for TFM's sales?

True. But to compare it to TFM in terms of commercial impact as was being debated...
BTW is her best work to date, but her loss of commercialism is clear to see
|
That would make sense if BTW hadn't of outsold it...
There are different kinds of impacts. Commercial impact is great, but the impact BTW has made is a social one and that is what will help her in the long run. Commercial impact only matters until someone else comes along, but social impact can't be matched.

Yes, it is.
The Fame era is the one with the biggest impact so so far. As I said, album sales were pretty good but became excellent only after the release of the EP.

No.
TFM (EP) sales count only the EP edition.
So TF sales consists of TF album sales and TF+TFM album sales. So we can't deny that TF sales is pretty much inflated by TFM, but it is also arguably that TF alone could have sold around that figure.

That's the reason why are sales are now more frontloaded (which makes them look worse).
And now she hasn't the new, "it" factor to help her. Actually, very few artists haven't seen a decline in their third Era after two hugely succesful ones (we know BTW isn't her third album technically, but is perceived by public/critics as a third Era). There are tons of examples: Madonna, Britney, Whitney... they all saw a noticeable decline, but this didn't prevent them from having amazing success after.

That's a little unfair comparison.
TF Gaga was building her career.
BTW Gaga had all the hype in the world.
How about comparing those album sales without first week sales?

The real tragedy was Dance In The Dark being snubbed single treatment.

But TFM has sold much more than 1.5m. The EP sold 1.5m. The re-release of the album pushed sales of TF from 1.5m to 4.4m.
