Congratulations to P!nk for gaining her 3rd #1 video this week with "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)". With a third #1, she ties such artists as Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Jay-Z, and Hayley Williams of Paramore in eighth place for most #1s on this countdown.
That being said, I thought it would be fun to start taking a look back at the chart's history, with a look at previous #1s from this week. P!nk joins Colbie Caillat, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Christina Aguilera as the fifth female to rule the countdown during this week.

Bob Dylan is gearing up to release his 35th (!; step up your game, Rihanna) studio album, Tempest, due out on 11 September 2012 in the U.S. Dylan released the video for the opening track and first single off the album, "Duquesne Whistle" this week, and the video goes for adds starting next week.
People forget that when Ryan Tedder is not writing hit songs for King B, Kelly Clarkson, and others, he does a really good job of keeping some of that material for his band, OneRepublic. With a new album set to be released later this year, the band is already promoting it by releasing the first single off the untitled album, "Feel Again" by sending out a video for the song earlier this week via Vevo.
You may remember Grimes from earlier this year when I plugged the video for "Oblivion" of her fantastic 2012 album Visions. Well lucky for us Grimes has released a new video for album track "Genesis" recently, one which makes a Lady GaGa video look like "Someone Like You".
Adds for the Week of 2 September 2012

Grimes, "Genesis"
Ne-Yo, "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)"

P!nk blew off the competition last week as she sat in the #1 lane with "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" to secure her 3rd #1 video on the countdown. This week Flo Rida looks to join P!nk with a 3rd #1 single of his own, following in the footsteps of "Low" and "Good Feeling". Adam Levine and the members of Maroon 5 have their sight set on securing yet another #1 video for the band, while also making Overexposed their first album to feature two #1 singles. Also watch out for Justin Bieber in the distance, as his collaboration with G.O.O.D. Music member Big Sean, "As Long As You Love Me" looks to become the Biebz first ever Sound Check chart-topper.
