I was shocked with Cheek to Cheek (deluxe) because usually Godga releases terrible bonus tracks that ruin the album flow (like Black Jesus Amen Fashion). In fact, it's kinda embarrassing that the best tracks are bonus songs.
I look at Gaga and I see somebody who has the talent and the mentorship of respected legends
to ease her into a successful career as a vocalist. I mean, with Talent 2 Talent she's already
winning over the older crowd, a vital constituent to anybody in the music industry over 50 yo.
Suffice to say, I don't see the same for Katy. She's not nearly talented enough for
people to pay just to watch her sing and she's not interesting enough to get by like Madonna.
Well yeah, she didn't write it and she didn't get her talentless friends to produce it, but she still oversings and does a horrible jazz impression where you expect her to end each song with "and that's jazz, folks!"

C2C was good for her career, but it's kinda cringeworthy how all of a sudden she has a distaste for pop music. Being a Gaga stan is worse than being a Britney stan smh

She mainly oversings on the upbeat tracks. Lush Life is her best vocal
performance to date and blows most of her contemporaries out of the water, though.
