So I still cannot get into J-Pop. Can some of you recommend me a few great groups/solo artists that have a nice music discography which will turn me into a J-Pop stan?

m-flo. Start off with ASTROMANTIC, then Cosmicolor, then the rest in any order that you prefer. Listen to the albums -as albums-, not in random shuffle order.

I hear you, never cared for JPop, probably because we rarely hear about it, it's like Japan's best-kept secret.
But Koda Kumi got me interested when I saw her performance on last year's MAMA.

Try the catchy stuff first, for Koda : TABOO, VIP, Bling Bling Bling, her new album Japonesque has a lot of gems too.

Well I tried to get into J-Pop so I started listening to Hikura Utada but she was too slow for me.

Japanese labels are really strict with the whole copyright thing especially avex (which Namie and Kumi are both signed to) which is why it's hard to find most of their stuff on youtube.

Namie has her own youtube channel with some of her vids uploaded, not all though: http://www.youtube.com/user/AmuroNamiech?feature=watch

2NE1 are rumored to be featured on their new album out next month, which should be a crazy collab. I think you'd like them in general though, they make amazing music.
