Yeah. And a lot of annoying people who get together around a table pretending to love one another and thanking G_d for XYZ and for the company that they're with. The rest of the year they barely acknowledge each other's existence.
I'm bitter this week
my family doesn't even try anymore, we just stay home because who are we even kidding
I can't wait for Thanksgiving omg, especially bc I'm not a vegan anymore (although still vegetarian) I am going to DEVOUR the entire table omfgfgjhksafkes
i'm pretty sure thanksgiving nowadays is just an excuse for people to eat a lot of food and see their extended families :U
i don't really like most of the food my extended family tends to make for thanksgiving and i'm not a big eater anyway so the holiday is kind of lost on me
