yes, carrie not going #1 (i mean there's still a chance but i'm not counting on it) kinda sucks but at the end of the day she's doing better than most artists in the current sales climate. it's not like the CMAs were ever gonna award her again anyway, and she does infinitely times better than other female country artists so it's not gonna make her suffer at general award shows or other country award shows.
