First of all it reeks of JYP production. Parts of it remind me of old 2PM songs (and y'all know how I feel about that), the rapping is SO weak, the straight-out-the-70s slang (let your body groove??? lol) and I don't like their vocals or the melody.

Basically everything that I hated about 2PM's discog is in this song.

JYP tried to change it up and go for a convoluted sound, but rather than being thrilling, it just came across as messy to me.

And yes, some parts reminded of B.A.P, but only the parts that I don't like about B.A.P's music And the fact that some of the scenes of the video were too identical to Never Give Up just sealed the deal for me. It pissed me off how similar it was.

But sis, if you saw, I was anticipating this before it dropped. I wanted and expected to like it.

And I don't hate JJ. I just personally despised everything about "Bounce". It seems perfectly fitting that it would have the same title as that trash NEW.F.O song. But I'll try to judge them on a song-to-song basis just like I do with other groups that I don't use...

There's nothing bad about Bounce, it might come across as messy and I totally understand it, but those kinda messy songs are usually epic growers, you just need few listens to understand really its construction.

It's really good IMO, the whole 3 genre into 1 song thing is really interesting and works well, when you listen to the song there's a progression and all the transitions into these genres connect really well. JR's rap is meh, I'll give you that, but JB's vocals are ... And JR's voice is really good too when he sings.
I don't really see where it's bad tbh.
