I actually love Complicated. I even think that it could perfrom better than California King bed even though CKB is the better ballad and vocal performance . I just think that if this was 2 years ago or so CKB would have smashed easily but due to the state of Pop radio at this point, that song would be just too different for Pop. I even think that it would perform better on HAC and AC rather than Pop. I always love diversity and breaking barriers and CKB can do that on radio but it is just too risque of a single choice at this point. Complicated has that euro dance beat thats radio friendly while it still has the element and production to deem it as a ballad. The song is even relatable as well. I say Complicated over California King Bed for 5th single or the ballad release of this era.
Complicated, I can safely say, is my favorite Rihanna ballad. I can't remember anything from CKB besides the chorus ....

OMG I was thinking the same thing but only the male act was different. I was thinking Keith Urban . California King bed has a country appeal to it. heck, its even more country than Taylor's songs. [/noshade]
