Meisa slayed with this one. I hope she will keep on releasing music, no matter what others say. My personal Queen of J-pop.
Unlocked
1. Hit The Road: (6/10) Mediocre album filler. Don't know why it's the first track on the album, but still a great set up for one of the album's best.
2. Shake It Off: (9/10) The production value on this one really reminds me of Magazine. Gives me also a very international vibe, i. e. it could be transfered in english language easily.
3. Wired Life: (6/10) I love the instrumental on this one...her vocals not so much.
4. One More Drama: (10/10) Simply flawless. Amazing track.
5. Take Me Away: (8/10) I really like that one, although the song is a little bit too long for my taste.
6. Flash Light: (6/10) Good background music. Nothing more, nothing less.
7. Woman's Worth: (10/10) I love this song so much! J-pop at its finest in my eyes.
8. Breeze Out: (8/10) I like the song, but the PV made me really love this track.
9. LAST CODE: (8/10) I love her vocals on this one. The track is great.
10. Happy to Be Me: (9/10) Another standout track. The beginning of this song *****.
11. PARADE: (8/10) Haven't really warmed up to that one yet, but I like it more with each listen.
12. S.O.S. (7/10) Not my cup of tea. Her vocals are lackluster too.
13. UPGRADE U!: (9/10) Classic Meisa tune. Fun and up-tempo.
14. Aimai De Zeitaku Na Yokubou: (10/10) Her best ballad to date. This one really wowed me. If only I could understand what she's singing.
Overall Rating: 8/10
Once again, I'm really looking forward to her next masterpiece next year, February 2013.
