Let me break it down since RihannaFan tried to, but failed. Although he's not supposed to.

The votes were tabulated as such.

1) The points that everyone received in each category they were nominated in got saved.
2) The online voting was calculated fully.. but because we couldn't keep track of who voted and how many times and such. We felt it would be fair if we created a system where we took 70% of the online votes (since thats the votes that were originally gonna determine the winner) and use 30% of the points accumulated in the first round to keep everything "fair".
3) If by that calculation and you won by a reasonably far margin, you got the award. If the winner's points was below the margin set.. the top 3 in that category had to battle it out by a committee who voted on the top 3 remaining to pick the winner. Only 6 categories had to go to committee voting. If you are going to think that committee voting is unfair.. I'll have you know the past 2 years.. ONLY the committee picked the winners. This is the first year where the public votes had the most say in the winners.



And there you have it.
