Congratulations ClarksonSlays! You most certainly were a front-runner, but the best part about it was that you remained pretty humble about it and were still willing to explore diverse themes in your writing showing your dimension as a songwriter. Great work throughout the entire season.

And an additional congratulations to both finalists - Achilles. and swiftie13, I greatly enjoyed reading your songs and you've both accomplished so much. I hope you will continue to write (and that goes for everyone, not just the finalists!).

It's difficult to pick just one because you've each shown your skills time and time again through various different ways. I like to think that this competition helped you all grow and develop and I hope that you continue to do so. Once again, remember that you have managed SO much by making it this far in what was possibly the most competitive season of this game. Take what you've learned from this competition and go forth you talented people!

I believe I sent out surveys to anyone relevant to this season, but if I missed anyone or if there's any spectators that want to fill it out, here it is

Platinum Hit 8 has come to an end, but there's always another season down the corner. Season 9 is slated for a tentative May 2016 release, and we need your feedback in order to improve the game and bring it to its full potential.

OK I'm about to go to bed so I'll finally post something nice.

Hor, you've grown so much during this competition! Starting from Kingdom Bells, you've improved so much as a songwriter. I love your ability to inject so much of yourself and your heritage in your songs. You have a brilliant, colorful mind and I've loved talking to you in the dub track as well. I know you have a bright musical future and I hope we do get to work together someday.

Jake, I doubted you a lot this season, but you've proven yourself to be one of the best writers I've judged in the history of this game. Even when you had an off week you always submitted something you believed in. I love the way you express yourself through your lyrics and fight for what you believe in. 2nd place is better than first in my opinion. Fefe and Hunter both got 2nd in their first seasons and came back and won their second, so I hope you come back to win season nine! Or you could become the next GotSkill/Sam and become a bigger part of the PH family and help others find their artistic voice. Whatever you do, I can only see you continuing to grow in your writing and I hope I get to witness some of it someday.

And Hunter, congratulations on winning! You deserve it all. You were by far the most consistent contestant this season. The poetic elements of your songs, as well as your precise imagery always struck a chord in me. Although you know I have reservations about your lack of emotion in songs, I could see you starting to open up and show a little more about how you felt in your later entries. Don't feel like you don't have enough experiences to write personally. Don't be afraid to show the world yourself through your songs. It's probably the most beautiful way to reveal yourself (subtweet @Hor in the dubtrack last night). You're already have an astounding amount of talent, but I still sense unseen potential in you. You can only go up from here and I hope you continue to write no matter where your PH career may take you in the coming months.

Platinum Hit is just that #indie and #cool that comments come after results.

No, honestly it wasn't even (completely) to do with timing for the comments. I think it would have given away the winner if I posted them before because Clarkson had pretty positive comments across the board and I didn't want anyone going into the results 100% sure who the winner was. Sorry for being so elusive about the whole thing, but that really was one of the main reasons why I never posted comments beforehand.

The GRAMMYs was totally a time thing. I planned to get everything done yesterday but as many of you know I'm also competing as a contestant in the grand finale of Tymps' Holy Trinity game (check out the entries here! #promo) and those two entries literally took up my entire Monday morning-afternoon and I only got some stats and graphics done for PH in the evening-early hours of Tuesday.

Right now I'm going to get ALL of the comments, scores and that ready to post in case anyone's still perching for them. At the risk of sounding like a jerk, if you were in the game for the right reasons (to grow as a writer) you will still care about the comments you were given, especially since there were many new opinions in this finale who may or may not be on the panel next season!
