Yep. It also happens when a album is released and singles have already been charting. They remove the single versions and then you can only buy it from the album. In this case it's the other way around. But to the point, she has to climb all the way to the top which is going to be hard since she doesn't have top 10 exposure anymore. The only way for it to happen is if Madonna gets a banner.

The SMASH songs are fantastic, original, and have zero auto tune. So, they probably wont appeal to the music buying audience.
