After BAngerz, I'm just gonna bop K$ from Animal to "What Ke$ha Wants" mixtape. What a flawless night this will be

Dinosaur really is underrated. Max Martin and Shellback's production is perfect for the track. And the chorus, D-I-N-O-S-A you are a Dinosaur is actually ****ing GENIUS.

Animal without a doubt was more personal and authentic, I agree. While Animal has a few gems , purely musically I still prefer Warrior, but it's not hard to tell which album really was closer to her heart.
I hope she will find a way back to this position of at least a little more creative freedom.

btw Dinosaur was the second Ke$ha song I ever heard (not counting Right Round, making TiK ToK my second and Dinosaur my third) back in 2009 when the demos and album cuts were leaking.

Yep, Animal is her best.

If the chorus was a little better, would it replace #CrazyKids as your fave?

I think some of the "sounding like a parody of herself" thing might be due in part to the large number of songwriters brought in on Warrior. I'm not sure whether they brought Bonnie McKee, Nate Ruess, will.i.am, etc. in because Ke$ha was being non-compliant during the songwriting process because she wanted the more "rock"-type sound or whether the label really wanted Warrior to have the same amount of chart success Teenage Dream had, but I think the other songwriters went in trying to emulate Ke$ha but ended up overdoing it. Especially Will.

Absolutely. Even with Katy's debut, the lyrics were wittier. Nowadays, her music is full of clichés. Perhaps these labels are aiming for bigger success, but end up killing the quirks that made these artists successful in the first place. The difference is that Katy had the image to evolve into a cookie-cutter pop star, where as Ke$ha didn't – justifying why her record tanked. It's like they tried to get other people on board to create some ideal "evolution", rather than letting Ke$ha herself do it organically.

As much as Warrior is my favourite Kesha album, I do agree with this. I actually think that Kesha should have stuck with her original image, or should've been allowed greater creative freedom so she could have naturally evolved herself.

Let's all hope Luke will learn SOME kind of lesson from the current situation. Or simply that he drops her altogether and passes her on to some of the other producers signed to RCA and not his own label.

This is true, but the only thing I disagree with is the cookie-cutter pop star bit. Her team manufactured the cookie-cutter... there's no "right" way to be a pop star. I don't really see Katy Perry as this basic generic outline for what pop should be by industry standards like most others do. She had a very successful era with Teenage Dream, but that didn't make her way of music the "right" way to do it to get hits. Fergie had similar success and she was hardly the perfect pop star.
Ke$ha's vision for her sophomore record was different to Luke's, and while compromises were made on both ends, they were majorly in Luke's favour, which is why Warrior tanked. Not because she couldn't live up to society's standards of the Katy Perry cookie-cutter pop star.
The last part is true though, while Warrior did show signs of growth, it was extremely limited and inorganic.

This is probably what Luke wanted, and Ke$ha didn't, which is where the problem began. Ke$ha didn't want to put out the same type of music she did during the Animal + Cannibal era anymore. There was almost three years between Animal's release and Warrior's, remember. Ke$ha changed a lot in that time. So she didn't want to keep releasing that stuff, but Luke did. He didn't want to let her have more creative freedom, so they compromised and the Warrior era was the result; not enough like Animal + Cannibal to smash, yet not enough like Ke$ha wanted to make her stand out once again.

Does anyone see Luke's mentions are all bombarded with insults? I cackle every time he tweets and look at the replies

tbh Ke$ha and Luke should part ways after this, and she can concentrate on getting a new record deal or something and start working on a new album in 2015 (lets face it, with all of this going down I no longer believe that a 2014 release is possible). I mean I could be wrong, but unless the issues surrounding Ke$ha and Luke's relationship magically disappear within the next few months, I can't see her getting back in the studio anytime soon.
Luke can then just concentrate on Katy Perry, Becky G or any other artists stupid enough to still work with him.

Well I don't really go on Twitter all that much, but I can't say that this surprises me. He had it coming to him, it's been a long time coming. I don't condone hate mail, but I also don't condone calling young women refrigerators.

Omfg, I just read through the first few replies displayed to Luke's tweet about that stupid Chinese Food song....
He's really getting it, and I don't feel bad for him.

What I mean is that they tried to "clean" Ke$ha up with the assumption that the public didn't like her looking the way she did. 2012-2013 was all very tame in comparison to how things were in 2009 and 2010. They also morphed Katy into something more consumer-friendly, but her transition was far easier because her image wasn't too essential to her success in the first place. She had more room to evolve, where as Ke$ha didn't. Does that make sense? Hope it clarifies things.
The end product was Ke$ha becoming a parody of herself. There were traits of her original persona, but it wasn't all the way there. If she didn't want to stick to her roots completely, then she should have done something brand new. The "in between" thing she did for Warrior was confusing and clearly didn't work out so well for her. I want her to fully become what she wants.
