I prefer the GPs reception to Gaga at the oscars than for her to be controversial again. I'm over it, she should go the Adele route but be far more interesting.
Tony Bennet is the luckiest guy ever. The way he shamelessly uses Gaga for a career revival, you just know as long as he is alive he will keep coaxing her to make Cheek to Cheek volumes 3 through 10. If Monsters truly love their fave, they should kill Tony

Right. Like she made enough of a splash to always be in line for that. And I also don't feel like people ever hated her like they hated Miley and Bieber. People just thought she was weird or an attention *****. The hatred wasn't more than the love basically.

Gaga will definitely get a lot of attention though when she returns with a pop song. If that song is good enough, then her career is saved. Else she's gonna have to start from scratch.

Bieber's singles from his last album (Boyfriend etc) >>>> His singles this era. His attitude is just as bad now. He at least owned up to it back then.
It's disgusting that he's making a comeback and it really shows how misogynist the world really is. Can you imagine what would have happened if Rihanna instagrammed a picture of her bare butt like that?

The difference is everything, IMO. Boy bands feel impersonal to people on the outside. Non-fans tend to see them as products or not at all. The public doesn't know or remember or care about the names or personalities of One Direction or Backstreet Boys members.
In contrast, virtually everyone had some strong emotion to share about Britney's, or Miley's, or Bieber's public scandals. The difference is being an identifiable and substantial public personality. It's a much greater position of power.
Beautiful is bigger classic than any Knee song here in the US.
The reality is Legend X still has her talent. So there will always be some sort of place for her in the industry. Whether it be an award show performance every few years, a tribute or two, etc.
In 10-20 years, she will be performing at events like these.
There isn't really a place for Britney anymore.

out of the three listed I love BOMT and Toxic...never the biggest fan of OIDIA.
Just because it's her only true classic hit...the other one is a cover of a 70s song.
I do believe Beautiful is a bigger classic than Britney classics like Slave for you, Gimme more and others.

Gaga has only been hated by the same people who hate all pop stars (usually "real music!!" fans who listen to mainstream rock radio). She's never been properly HATED like Miley and Bieber.
