ain't no straight man gon bop to "That's My Girl", they can keep it as the third single.
choosing "Flex" over "That's My Girl" is a very smart decision, especially considering they're obviously trying to expand their branding past stan Twitter and the people they've supported them until now.
!!!! This. TMG is cute but no guy is going to like it. It's a cute Olympic / album promo song. AIMH has Fetty and a summer vibe. Definitely can be a top 10 smash
It makes more sense for them to perform WFH on BGT since it'll be a good push for the album tomorrow. I also think it'll give a lot of people the opportunity to put the faces to the song. I know a lot of the GP over here barely know who they are by band name, never mind what they look like.
We haven't had a big stage performance of WFH here either, yet.
WFH is big and performing that will let people know "oh those are the girls who sing WFH". Plus Flex is not even out, it would be a waste performing it.
Not to mention they're not very promo sensitive, so whatever they can slay it's fine.
EDIT: Basically what Dizzy said.
btw WFH is now #6 (+1) on US iTunes, while 7/27 is #1 in 18 countries!
They don't need to stress about getting a Top 10 hit there now. If WFH could go top 10 without promo (or before the promo), AIMH certainly will too. That type of sound is really popular there too.
They really need to perform WFH there. How long til they're on? I wanna stream it.
No way is seriously quickly becoming my favorite on the album.
I see what they spoke about on interviews: it's raw, it's emotional. It takes you on an emotional ride. It's an AMAZING song and it should be a single because it's a side people haven't seen from them.
This is the perfect oppurtunity for them to get another top 10 hit in the UK.
Even if a performance sent AIMH top 10 on UK iTunes tomorrow, it still wouldn't debut in the top 10 next week on the official charts. Its streaming would push it down, since that's probably gonna take time to build, just like WFH.
At this point, I don't see why AIMH wouldn't go top 10 in the UK anyway at some point in the future. It's the perfect sound for radio, Capital will definitely be supporting it and it just sounds like a smash.
